VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN PETERBOROUGH GET A BETTER DEAL
Following the Government's Joint Area Review in August 2006 a judgement was made that safeguarding arrangements in Peterborough were 'inadequate'. In part it recommended "the council strengthen recruitment and retention processes to reduce high vacancies of qualified social workers." A five stream strategy was put in place.
