SOARING CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSE RATES

Peterborough City Council's call centre, Peterborough Direct was not meeting customer demands and although improvements were being made the speed of change was not rapid enough and it was unclear if efficiency savings would be delivered.  Following an independent review, a number of practical solutions were put in place.  This resulted in significant savings and impressive improvements in customer response rates.
